Super Bowl Sunday is upon us again, ladies and gentlemen. Before you call it a cheat day and get bloated on beer, nachos and pizza (all my favorites, so no judgements) – check out these 5 recipes below. Bring any of these healthy recipes instead of a boring cheese or veggie platter and you’ll be the winner, for sure. Enjoy!
EASY TURKEY CHILI
A versatile game-day favorite, Easy Turkey Chili, is a crowd pleaser to say the least.
- Over a baked potato or sweet potato
- Over veggies, like zucchini or shredded lettuce
- All by itself
- Over noodles
- Over Rice or Quinoa
BUFFALO MEATBALL SLIDERS
These miniature, tasty treats are always the first to go at parties. You can also whip them up in no time at all. If buffalo flavor is not your thing, you can easily substitute barbecue for another delicious option. Find the recipe here.
SLOW COOKER STUFFED MINI PEPPERS
A set and forget favorite of mine! Mini bell peppers stuffed with ground turkey.
Don’t forget to bring the guacamole, sour cream and salsa for topping these little guys!
CINNAMON TOAST POPCORN
Get out your air popper and go crazy! This is a simple, sweet snack that even the kids will eat up! Bring a few batches of this one.
If cinnamon toast isn’t your favorite, consider these alternative seasonings:
- Chili powder & Lime Juice
- Garlic Powder & Grated Parmesan
- Cocoa & Stevia Powder
BUFFALO CHICKEN PROTEIN PIZZAS
I saved my very favorite for last!
I like to bring a big platter of these cut into smaller pieces like buffalo nachos!
