Who am I?
My name is Lauren, I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and WFS as well as an AFPA Certified Nutrition and Wellness Counselor. I have been training for a few years now and understand that there a different schools of thought when it comes to most things nutrition and training.
When I started my fitness journey in early 2014, I was completely new to everything. Very quickly it became my passion. I went from “not having time” to workout to finding 90 minutes every day in just a couple of months. The most mind-blowing part of the process was really getting educated on how different energy sources effect your weight loss, muscle gain, and overall performance.
What will you get here?
Eat Well Lift Well is devoted to providing easy-to-understand information about nutrition, weightlifting, and general wellness. I want people to have access to all of the information I tracked down all in one place. There is an abundance of information and misinformation available regarding these sciences that it can be incredibly overwhelming. If that isn’t enough, it’s a science that changes on what seems like a daily basis. I am committed to keeping these articles updated and accurate according to any developments that are made.
One of the things that I love the most about training is having the privilege of learning something new every day. If you are new to this, then you will learn that you are never done. Once you start training and eating well, you will start to see result. Once the results come, you’re always after the next goal. I look forward to helping you set and reach these goals.
